I've been super MIA lately since I'm moving back to NC on Friday!  Woohoo!  I am sooooooooooooooooo tired of packing and cleaning though lol.

What has everyone been up to lately?

    Welcome back and good morning! (we are just going to use this as the good morning post too lol)

    I'm still battling my cold, but I did make it into work this morning. I took my nyquil too late last night I think, because I feel like a zombie today. My cubicle is in the back corner, so there's really nothing to distract me from falling asleep, I really hope I don't pass out today at work. haha.

    FI and I bought our wedding bands last night, I'm so glad that's taken care of because we have been meaning to do it for weeks! I got a pretty simple band, it has alternating round and baguette diamonds and it looks tiny compared to my e-ring, but I didn't want another huge ring, I have tiny fingers and it would be too much. My ring is getting sized, so it will be back in two weeks. J got a stainless steel ring. He liked the tungsten ones, but I was a little iffy about those since he's a mechanic and you can't cut them off should he get into an accident. We know he would ruin a gold ring with his job, so we went with the stainless. :o)

    My FMIL was in town this weekend, and we went shopping for her dress for the wedding, she's been dieting and has lost some weight and everything looked great on her. I didn't think she needed to lose any before anyway, but I'm glad she's doing so well with it and I can tell it's boosted her confidence alot. We also went and bought the fabric for the FG dresses, FMIL is making them.

    Shigaites - Welcome back to the boards and Carolina!

    Holly - Nothing like Nyquil...it really I think worsens me for a few days even if the "sick" is gone I'm out of it for days!  Wedding bands were exciting...my e-ring came as a set and we went and got FI's a couple of weeks ago.  That was one thing that was like...Whoa! We are really getting close!

    Busy weekend for us.

    We went to Boone Saturday morning for the day.  That always makes for an exhausting day trip AND FI's AC went out in his car...it was a miserable drive...I've never been so hot in a car in my life!

    Did the grocery shopping, sprucing up around the house yesterday and finished out the weekend with dinner at the Pewter Rose Bistro with friends.

    FMIL is coming tonight to help with centerpieces tonight.  Hopefully we will get them close to complete tonight.  I'm ready for the nit-picky things to be done!

    Hey everyone.  Kyle, what kind of cool Japanese goodies are you filling your suitcases full of?  I think I'd be tempted to just trash things that I could easily get more of here and pack more momentos than anything.

    haha that's EXACTLY what I've been doing!  It's been pretty insane actually.  I'm going to have to do some clothes shopping when I'm back in town because I'm basically bringing back three pairs of pants and a couple shirts.

    I've been given a TON of gifts from people so that's what most of my luggage is.  Even the staff at the Starbucks in my town gave me a goodbye present.  I couldn't believe it!
