  does not matter. my one cousin had her 2 sisters one a maid of honor and the other a matron of honor. matron is only because the woman is married not because there is 2 maid of honors.

  I had a maid of honor (my sister), a matron of honor (my BFF), and a bridesmaid (my SIL). No one thought it was weird or unusual. You can do what you want with your bridal party.

  No, it's not weird. And unless you have programs nobody even knows who is an "of honor" and who is "a bridesmaid."
