Candy Apple wedding favors? Not crazy expensive? Wedding in NJ area

I’m getting married this fall and still racking my brain for a good wedding favor. I thought since it’s fall, candy apples might be nice. Ideally I would like something to fit more of the gothic/halloween essence I’m trying to infuse in my wedding, so any kind of “spider web design” or any other decor would be great. At this point I’m having trouble finding any plain candy Apple favors that aren’t too expensive. Any ideas? Help? Recommendations? It would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!

  • Candy apples are not my favorite so I don't have any recommendations for you on that point but I do love it as an idea for a favor especially for a fall / Halloween wedding.  Our wedding is actually on Halloween so we're doing trick or treat bags as favors.  Not sure yet if we're going to make them up ourselves and lay them out at the tables or just have a candy table where guests can fill their own bags.
  • We are having caramel apples as favors.

  • Be careful with those, many people can't eat them because of how much they pull on your teeth!!! I have strong, healthy teeth and I had my only filling partially pulled out by a candy apple!!!

    Maybe the candy apple suckers?

I personally only eat candy apples that are already cut, because other wise I risk pulling out a tooth (as PP has mentioned) or drooling all over myself trying to bite into it. I would pass on one if I was in a nice outfit unless it was cut.

  • This sounds really messy.
