Small, affordable venue in Central CT.

Guest list is under 50 and we have a tight budget. We were hoping to have an outdoor venue with self catered food but that is extremely hard to find. I can't afford $60 per person on top of a venue fee.
We thought about getting married in a park or even Castle Craig but still need a reception venue.
Does anyone have any idea So? Out of the box is fine.
Thanks. Oh and the event isn't until 8/16

    Holcomb Farm in Granby.  They have a newly renovated barn. I think it's as cheap as 800$  That includes table and chairs.  Message me is you need contact info.

    That is a little far but I will check it out. Thank you.
    We are hoping to get something in the immediate area. I'm not sure how likely it is to happen though. We're in the Waterbury/Southington area.

    We did think about the museum. We actually just found our place. We are reserving the Pavillion at The Back Nin in Southington. It has great food, great atmosphere and a top notch crew. In the town we live in and just perfect! I can't wait!

    Congrats, that's awesome!  When is the date?  Food was the number one influence on our decision.
