Dad/Stepdad Handoff - Advice Please!!

I have decided to have my stepdad walk me halfway down the aisle and then hand me off to my dad for the rest of the walk.  I'm running into some logistical problems - should my dad walk halfway down the aisle beforehand and wait there?  How should my stepdad get from the handoff point to his seat at the front?  I'm probably WAY overthinking this but I'm reaching crisis point trying to figure out how my ceremony is going to go - any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

    First, take a deep breath.  You are way over thinking this!  It does not need to be complicated at all.  Here are a few suggestions:

    1. SD walks you to your father.  Your dad would start from the front of the ceremony space and walk halfway toward you and SD.  Then SD hands you off to dad for the final walk.  SD should just wait a few paces and then follow behind you two and into his seat next to your mom.

    2. SD and Dad walk you both down the aisle the whole way.  This alleviates your anxiety of "how it would all work".  Both dads would start in the back with you and walk you down the aisle together, one on each side.

    3. After the BMs process down the aisle, your dad will then walk in halfway and wait for you and SD to meet him, then he walks you the rest of the way.  Again your SD should wait a few paces then follow behind you to his seat next to your mom.

    Honestly, it works however you want it to work.  If you want your dad to walk all the way, or part way, down the aisle, that's entirely up to you.  Assuming that your stepdad is escorting you the rest of the way, he walks you to the front, then when his "escorting" you is over, he simply turns and goes to his seat.
