Hi Everyone!  My fiance and I are getting married November 7 and will be moving out of state 1 weeks later.  Does anyone know how long it takes after the wedding for your marriage certificate to be ready for pickup at the office of vital statistics?

I was hoping to get all of our certified copies prior to moving but I am not sure if that is going to feasible at this point.

Has anyone ever tried NJ's online vital statistics ordering process?

    You can call and ask.  We picked ours up from the municipality where we got married.  I think they said it could take several weeks, but I feel like it was ready in about 2 weeks. You should be able to do it by mail though too if it isn't ready.

    We went on our honeymoon right after the reception for 1 week, we came back and the marriage certificate was ready for pick up, so I guess it depends on your town :)

    Ours was ready in 2 weeks.  We had to go and pick it up.
