Invitation/Accommodation Card Question

So I am amking accommodation cards for my OOT guests.

So far I have this:

A block of rooms have been reserved at a special rate at XX HOTEL. Simply mention the X/Y Wedding to obtain this special rate.

XX HOTEL

Street

Town

Phone Number

Rooms must be booked by September 15, 2010 to receive the special rate.

Should I put the actual rate on there? Or leave it off?

Thanks girls!

Leave it off. People will make the decision whether to stay accordingly. If where you reserved rooms is too expensive for some guests, they'll stay elsewhere.

I didn't put the rate on mine becaue we had blocks at 2 hotels and the rates were sightly different.  I also didn't want to say anything and then have guests call to hotel to find out it was something different.

I put the hotel rate on our accommodation cards. I thought that the information would be helpful for our guests in the decision to book or to attend from out of town. I think putting it on the website would be a good alternative though.

I left mine off but put it on the website, plus people could call or ask on facebook or something if they're that concerned.

To save money, we also put the directions on one side of a post card and the accomodations on the other...just a thought it helped lower our postage costs.
