I found this on another board, and I thought it was interesting. I know not all of us have had all of these experiences, but it's still kind of fun.

 

** This is by no means meant to be an all-inclusive list of life events.

 

*** For the purposes of this exercise, "gainful employment" would be a full-time, support yourself job.

 

Put these events in order:

 

Get engaged
Get married

Buy a house (condo/TH)

Get PG

Have baby #1 (or #2 or #3)

Graduate college

Graduate high school (get GED)

Meet DH

Move out of parent's house for good

Start college

Become gainfully employed

Buy a car

Lose virginity

Get drunk for the first time

 

Here's mine, no judging.

 

Past events--

 

Got drunk for the first time (not a proud moment)

Bought a car

Met future DH

Lost virginity

Graduated high school

Started college

Moved out of parents house for good

Graduate college (First degree, I'm still going to school)

Became gainfully employed

Got engaged

Bought a house

Got a puppy

 

Future plans--

 

Finish another degree

Get married

Get PG

Have baby #1 (and probably another or two)

Someday finish school (maybe by the time I'm 50!)

    Past events:

    Graduate high school (get GED)
    Start college

    Move out of parent's house for good
    Get drunk for the first time
    Meet DH
    Graduate college (Bachelor's degree #1)
    Lose virginity
    Graduate college (Bachelor's degree #2)
    Buy a car
    Start Graduate School
    Get engaged
     

    Future Plans:

    Get married
    Graduate college (Master's Degree)
    Become gainfully employed

    Buy a house (condo/TH)
    Get a puppy

    Get PG

    Have baby #1 (and probably a second)

    I don't have plans to own a home anytime soon. Completely content with being a renter.
