Top 5 things I've learned Last year: 

1. I hate planning weddings. Never again.
2. How much my church family cares for us and how much they blessed us by the wedding.
3. Living with a man is hard.
4. I can handle 20 quarter units like a boss
5. Traveling is my passion but I don't always have to go far away to love the place  I am going. 

Top 5 things I'm looking forward to in 2013: 

1. Learning more things about marriage and our 1 year anniversairy.
2. Being almost finished with school.
3. Traveling. 
4. Trying new recipes 
5. Going camping, hiking and canoeing with my husband.

  • Top 5 Things I Learned in 2012:

    1. If you're going to own a home, build it.  We love our new home!
    2. I can in fact survive with hair that is not waist length.
    3. It's OK to be so broke that you don't get DH a present for his birthday (see "buying a house.")
    4. I can read 100 new books in a year.
    5. I can write a book myself.

    Top 5 Things I Look Forward to in 2013:

    1. DH being able to work full time now that he's finished with school.
    2. Possibly going to Atlanta to spend some girl time with my two best friends.
    3. Going on a cruise for our second wedding anniversary!
    4. Hopefully getting a raise at work.
    5. Spending another year with my awesome DH.  :)

  • 5 things I learned in 2012:
    1. While I feel like my body may fail me, it is still capable of many great things!
    2. My husband is the best gift God has given me thus far.
    3. Growing apart from people is okay. I don't need to chase them.
    4. Growing a human is hard.
    5. There are some people whose opinions actualy matter. Acting like my opinion is the only one that matters is wrong.

    5 things I'm looking forward to in 2013:
    1. Baby girl's arrival!
    2. E's graduation.
    3. Moving out of our college town
    4. Having more time to spend with E after he graduates.
    5. Getting closer to finishing my own degree.

    1. I am one of those people who is unable to procrastinate and pull out a miracle in a few hours and I am okay with that.
    2. God has blessed me with some pretty amazing friends and family
    3. God's timing doesn't always make sense but it's always for the best
    4. I am can do a lot more when I turn to God
    5. My husband is an important part of my testimony
    5 things I'm looking forward to in 2013:
    1. 2 year anniversary in June
    2. DH hopefully getting a promotion
    3. The arrival of new family members
    4. Seeing friends and family
    5. Getting closer to finishing my degree.

  • Top 5 things I've learned Last year: 

    1. I should stick with my original plan always, because after a few months and a lot of work I will usually end up back at my original plan aka wedding plan for this one.
    2. Relationships are hard work!
    3. I can no longer eat like I used to and not gain weight like crazy. Sad
    4. Alaska is beautiful!
    5. I really do, officially, want kids.

    Top 5 things I'm looking forward to in 2013: 

    1. Getting married!
    2. Going to St. Lucia and Disneyland and Oregon and camping...
    3. Losing weight- because it WILL happen.
    4. Working hard at staying active and happy!
    5. Hopefully starting to try for a baby

    Top 5 things I've learned Last year: 

    1. Wedding planning is stressful, never again.
    2.  God always keeps his promises, even if it's only at crunch time it's revealed.
    3. I actually dislike being on my own.
    4. I am blessed with a very wonderful family and church family.
    5. Marriage isn't a piece of cake, but it's worth it.

    Top 5 things I'm looking forward to in 2013: 

    1. 1 year anniversary.
    2. Moving into a more permanent home.
    3. HOPEFULLY getting a new, better job.
    4. Going abroad, HOPEFULLY.
    5. Spending time with family and friends.
