So I have a guy on my team; he’s made a lot of mistakes recently, didn’t get things done on time, and even though he’s trying hard he’s just not getting it done.
Today is our busiest day of the year. I have a ton of meetings, we have a massive deadline that can’t be pushed and we’re already behind because of things he did wrong.
And he comes to work sick. Makes a bunch more mistakes and then says he needs to leave. I can’t blame him for being sick, so not his fault. But we’re behind because of him and now the rest of my team has to pick up his work that he can’t finish. I don’t want someone here if they’re sick but this is annoying AF.
