So my fiancé and I are about to book our location and I’m a little concerned about menu prices changing from the time we sign the contract to when we have our wedding. We’re getting married in May 2011 and the venue can’t guarantee prices because fuel/food prices might go up etc. They have all-inclusive packages that provide linens/cake cutting etc. which is one of the reasons we want to go with them and I’m concerned that they might not have this package in the future or the price could go up extravagantly. Has anyone else had to deal with this before? Were you able to put any contingency clauses in the contract?
