  The Grand America is probably the nicest hotel in SLC, I have no idea what their rental fees are like though. The Little America is good too, and generally less expensive.

  Thanks for the option
  when Im in town in a few weeks I am going to check out Tuscany and Cafe Trio
  
  I called little america and they were pretty affordable-- around 60 pp for food and no room rental fee if I wait until 6 months before to book, which likely, I will.

  also at the for douglas area...check out the Pierre Lasonde house. i think it holds around 40-50? it's a historical house that they rent out for private parties. Fort Douglas allows alcohol and it's pretty inexpensive
