Skyline entrance

For those of you that got married at the Skyline chapel or plan on getting married there, do you know if there is any way to get to the chapel without walking through the casino.  I really like the Skyline chapel and the prices, but the idea of walking through the Imperial Palace casino in my wedding dress gives me a knot in my stomach.  Maybe I'm overreacting, but if there is any other way to get to the chapel without passing through the casino, that would be awesome!

  • Lol I have no idea why this made me laugh so much. Their new chapel is gorgeous but I heard IP isn't that nice which is one reason I've been avoiding it.
  • I totally get your stress.  The older casinos don't have the ventilation systems that the newer ones do, so walking through the casino for two minutes can have you smelling like an ashtray for the rest of the day.  It makes sense that you don't want that!

<div>Fi hasn't been to see the new chapel either. He just remembers IP not being the nicest of places either. He liked the pics I emailed him...until I told him it was IP. </div>
  • Yes, the chapel is super cute and everyone I've shown the pics to, loves it.  But just the idea, of being in my dress, all done up and then walking through that casino...just not how I imagined my wedding day.  It's nice to know I can avoid that walk of shame.  After we're married, I won't care, but it's just getting to the chapel that I hate.

<div>That was a major concern for me too. The elevator comes up along the upper level of the sports book and the floor is occupied by conference rooms.</div><div>
</div><div>There is also a bridal suite for each chapel up there and a bit of seating in the waiting area.</div><div>
</div><div>And walking through the casino level to the elevators is a trek.</div>
