  Oh no!  That is horrible!  I know the feeling, the same thing happened to me with my ring.  I had to get it re-made to be re-sized (ring would break otherwise) and when I got it back a stone fell out.  I had to send it back again   I hope it is finally fixed for you this time!

  Thanks.  Yeah the first time it happened , I wasn't happy but I thought well stuff happens and at least its insured but this time, I feel like I have less patience this time since this just happened a month ago.  FI just left to go get a haircut and he said as soon as he gets back he's going with me to the jeweler this time.  I'm getting the feeling he wants to give them a piece of his mind  :)

  Oh and I might add the ring is one month away from being paid off and then this happens.  I feel like its sort of like when people say right when you are close to paying off your car, thats right when someone hits you

  I had a diamond to fall out of my ring, too! BUT it only took them like a day to fix it! Girl, I wouldn't be able to be without my ring for over 48 hours! AND it's too big, but they won't make it any smaller because it's already like a 5-1/2 {or smaller}, and if they make it smaller my diamonds will really be falling out! UGH!

  So the update is that we dropped it off today.  The jeweler said she'd expedite the repair due to the circumstances and it should be ready next week.  I guess I'll have to live with that.
