Need Venue Help!

Ok - so still in the process of finding the venue.  If anyone has a recommendation besides the ones I have looked at let me know - not opposed to going upstate.  Looking for something not over $120 PP.

Here are some of the ones we've looked at:
FEAST at Round Hill - fiance didnt like the food
Grandview - not our style
The Rhinecliff - still in the running
Bird & Bottle Inn - no accessibility for wheelchairs
West Park Winery - afraid of rain but still in the running
Lydhurst Castle - too expensive
The Garrison - too expensive

    Patriot Hills - we were under 2008 pricing, but I'm sure it's still under 120pp.

    Check out the Colonial Inn, in Norwood, NJ.  It's not far from the Tappan Zee Bridge.  We are having our wedding October 9th of this year and the total cost per person was around $110, I believe that includes tax and gratuity.

    surf and glen island are probably both well over $120 pp (in my experience). try the view on the hudson in piermont?

    Le Chambord in Hopewell Jct.  You'll be surprised!  I was.  Booked it same day.

    I looked into the View in Piermont but saw some reviews that they were "snobby" and didnt give you much freedom...

    Check out the Old Tappan Manor in Old Tappan, NJ.  It used to be the Colonial Manor and is recently renovated and looks gorgeous!!!!  We are getting married there next August on a Saturday for $95/person (not incl tax and gratuity.)  They are owned by the same people who own the View in Piermont.

    Thats very low for them...but does it include tax/service charge...I guess that could bring it up to like 140....and are you doing a night wedding or day?

    If you're willing to cross into northen NJ (about an hour or less from Westchester/Rockland/Orange), the Crystal Springs Resort has several different venue options. Grand Cascades is out of that range, but you can have your reception at Minerals Resort, Black Bear Club, or Ballyowen Club for 120/pp and under. My reception is at Minerals in October and I have nothing but good things to say about them.

    Agreed. That is VERY low for them. I know several people who recently looked at those two venues and in different seasons/different times of day and when all was said and done it was closer to the range of $130-160 pp.

    I know the wedding we attended at glen island was 175 or 200 a person.

    (Or any of Jean Jaques properties - the food is amazing)

    The Links is also really nice too.

    Where are you looking? You seem to have a wide area - Are you ok with all of the Hudson Valley?

    Also, do you need hotels nearby?

    I just visited Glen Island about a week or so ago. Thurs pricing is about $120 pp with taxes and gratuity. Fri is more like $150 pp.

    I looked at a few of the sites you looked into as well.. kept running into the same problem.

    also looking at Honor's Haven Resort & Spa in Ellenville (completely renovated- place looks great) or Hollow Brook Golf Club in Cortlandt Manor (beautiful location!)
