  • Yeah, some of those food choices are definitely weird. I would still be friends, but would probably not choose to share your lunch with you. Not that you were offering ;)
I had a friend in elementary school that ate thick layers of butter and ketchup on Wonderbread. It grosses me out. She had a little gap in her front teeth where the butter and ketchup would ooze out of. Still loved her, but that action made me ill.

What about that woman who ate her placenta to save money or something. She did that in her own home and it didn't affect us but practically the entire internet thought it was gross as hell. That arguement doesn't even make sense.

I just caught this but really? Why should I care about child birth? I know what I learned in school and that's enough. I don't plan on having children or delivering them so tell me why I should care about child birth? I have enough sh!t to study and childbirth isn't on my list of things I need to know. I can tell you a lot about breastfeeding though.

And you saying that  not caring about childbirth somehow compares to not caring about the suffering that goes on in Africa is insulting.

Let me ask you, do you care and fully understand about how/why poop is made in the body because I do but I don't expect everyone to care.

  • I'm still waiting to hear what actually constitutes as gross.  Playing with your own menstrual blood is apparently not gross.  Neither is poop.  Am I to assume that the girl talking about using old underwear for dishrags a few threads down isn't gross?

There are lots of women who eat their placenta.  I wouldn't do it, but don't actually give a shiit if others do.  I seem to be missing a fundamental gross-out emotion here.

I'm only this far in the thread so this might have already been beaten to death, but fucking seriously? A person doesn't have to roll around in their own period blood to know their body. I don't think you have to spray it around your house to get a good look at it either. I don't know Niki at all, but is she a doctor? Has she studied what she needs to be examining in her period blood? Is it like "oh dang, that sarah mcglothlin commercial with the one eyed dog is on, I'm sad and I bleed 3 less drops of blood when I'm sad?" I've never once changed a tampon or pad and thought "yikes that looks like it could be pre-cancerous, better call the doctor." I'm fairly in tune with how my body works and I never had to piss, shiit or bleed all over my house to figure it out.
