My grandma arrives tonight from NC and will be here until the end of October. I am her only grandchild so she and I are very close. She has not been to CA since my FI and I have been dating, so they have not met. When I told her we were going to get married, she said he better hope she likes him if he thinks he is going to get her baby. LOL Should be a fun few weeks.
My shower is on Saturday. While I only have one attendant in my wedding, I heard that a bunch of my friends have pitched in to help. I cannot wait to see what they have planned. I did not ask for any information or details, so I will be surprised when I show up on Saturday. One of my BFFs who lives in Malawi is in the Bay Area for the summer so she is flying down for the shower. So happy she can come since she will miss the wedding.
