matching wedding bands

Does anyone know of people still get matching wedding bands and a place with a wide selection of matching wedding bands?  Thanks!

Re: matching wedding bands

  • We didn't get matching bands.  We have different preferences on styles, so we each got what we liked best.  I believe any jewelry store would have matching sets though.  The sales associate will be more than happy to show you where they are.

We didn't get matching wedding bands either, but I'm also pretty sure all jewelry stores have sets.

Edit:  We got ours at Ben Moss and are really happy with them...I think they are only in Canada though
  • Ours weren't sold as matching ones, and we really didn't have intentions on getting matching ones, but they do go together.  We got ours from Kay's.

  • ours do not match.  i have yellow gold and H has white gold.

he jokes every time we go out that we're like married people having an affair becuase our rings are different and our last names our different.  :-)
  • Mine and my H's rings are similar in that they are both platinum and have princess cut diamonds (he would call his square) but other than that they're very different. I don't know if you have Jared there but that's where we got ours and they had lots of matching rings.

Haha H calls his square cut too and hates when I say his ring has princess cut diamonds.

  • Don't go by what other people do. Get what you like as individuals. Most of the chain jewelry stores sell the matching sets. Maybe you could try looking them up online to see where they sell them.

  • My E ring has engraving on the band and a fleur de lis on either side, so it's very likely that my band will just be simple white gold with the engraving going all the way around the side, and FI's ring will have either engraved or embossed fleur de lis going all the way around.

[SN: I kept checking my hand to make sure I wasn't lying, and then pouting because my ring is at the jeweler being resized right now. :( ]

  • Ours match onl in that my rings are white and yellow gold and so is his.

  • I think there are some companies out there that make matching bands. I know my parents rings are Keepsake (they are still around) and they match.
  • Ours are both white metal, tho' his is titanium, mine is platinum.  But DF refuses to wear anything other than an ultra plain band, and I'm a total girly girl and want pretty, so they don't look too similar.
  • We chose to have matching wedding bands, but it is definitely not required.
