Need photography recommendations!

Hey ladies! I have already utilized some of the info on this site to research photographers, and some other avenues as well. We are trying to find somebody who does documentary or photojournalist type pictures. I'd really like them there for 8 hours & our budget at this point, I'd like to keep at $1250. Just wondering if anybody had any good recommendations on maybe the not so well known or overly popular photographers everybody is using, therefore they are out of our budget....any advice is welcome! Thanks!

    We are going with a personal friend from Northern VA and she is charging us a lot under that. We did an engagement shoot with her and got 50 edited pictures. And we have her all day on our wedding day with 200 edited pictures in an album and a CD with all the pictures on it. She did a wonderful job on our engagement pictures. She is just starting out so she does not have an established business yet. If you would like her information, please PM me.

    MNturnsVA:While I am not using this photographer, Skyrider Photography based out of Christianburg, VA is VERY VERY good. My FI's son used them and then his wife's sister used them in a wedding in Clifton in August. Don't know where you are but you can google them and see the work on their site. Very innovative and fresh!

    I'm using Heather K, she's based out of Portsmouth VA. She is really good and very reasonable! She's charging me $1250 and she includes an engagement or bridal session, two shooters, and just about unlimited hours. Oh, and she also does a same-day edit of about 50 pictures, so if you have a projector at the venue you can show them in a slide show. Here is her blog: http://www.heatherkphotosblog.com/
