Now this happened long ago, but it's always kinda bothered me...
Back in 2005 (?) I was invited to a friend's wedding (college roommate for a semester). I went and took a gift. I never got a thank-you note. We're not that close anymore, and the marriage ended years ago, but I know now that I probably should have asked if she got the gift when I never got a thank-you note.
I feel like it's way past the time I could ask, especially since we're not close anymore, but it's something I occasionally think about... what if we're not close anymore because she was mad because she thought I didn't get her a gift?
Oh well, I guess.
