Back up plan

Hey ladies. Sorry if this was already covered, but I did a search for this topic and only found 30th st station and city hall for answers. I am getting married in center city next weekend and have plans to take pics throughout the city. It has been raining so much so I am trying to figure out an indoor back up plan in case it monsoons like last weekend. We love history and plan to take pics in Independence Park, Love Park, Logan Square, Art Museum, etc. However, if it rains I don't want to be limited to the church and venue. Would love ideas if you have them. Thanks so much.

The Franklin Museum's lobby (giant Ben Franklin statue). A lot of the structure's behind the Art Museum are covered, you can get great shots of boat house row in the background and the pretty blooming trees. Reading Terminal market could also be fun! Congrats and good luck with the pictures.

You likely will not be allowed to bring a pro photographer into the franklin or INSIDE the art museum...  you CAN bring a photographer into 30th street...

i would get an awesome umbrella and rain boots :)

The lobby at the Warwick Hotel is beautiful, and right across the street is tequillas resturant... Tequillas is a favorite spot of mine, and they have a very ornate, beautiful bar/cocktail room.  Pictures at a bar?!  I know it sounds a little different, but could make for some lovely photos.  Plus...margaritas while you take pics!  Maybe one of the University libraries as well?

I just looked at photos online of the Radisson and Tequillas...  Now I am contemplating downtown photos!  If you haven't been to the resturant before, take a look at their facebook page - very nice murals inside, a marble fireplace, and a cozy youre in someones house feel.   good luck!
