POST CARD HELP

HI all, I am looking for some assistance with my Save the Dates.  It looks like my fiancé and I have finally decided on a Postcard. Of course we didn’t really find anything we loved so I did some research and created one in Publisher.  I am now trying to figure out how to print them.  Ironically, I got an email from Vista Print the other day for a promotional price on past cards with them, and I can even upload my design.  I have also read that Fedex Kinko’s does a nice printing job. Does anyone have any experience with either?  My concern is I don’t want them to look like a post card, printed on a flimsy piece of paper.   Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Re: POST CARD HELP

  • VP has some pretty good quality products.  I've ordered their free 100 postcards and are very pleased with the printing quality.

I love Vistaprint.  I use them every couple months.  I just received my photoshare cards from them that I designed.  However, I think they need to be a photoshop file not a publisher file.  I could be wrong though.  I used their postcards for baby shower invitation before, and they looked great.  You can choose a glossy feel or a matte finish.  Plus, you can usually score "free postcard" emails from VP, so if you don't like them, you're probably not missing out on a lot. :)

ETA: You can also get either the standard or oversized (usually for free), BUT make sure you're not clicking the ones in their wedding section.  I don't think those are ever free.
