Gross things people do

Do you know anyone with really gross habits?  I do.

My former boss at my job (she's still there, just not my boss) has these hard contact lenses, and occasionally one pops out.  So what does she do?  She puts it in her mouth to "clean it off" before sticking it back in her eye in front of everyone.  Or she'll grab someone's water bottle or the spicket of the office water cooler to pour water over it.  Sick.

  • Coco, my stomach just turned. blech.

FI goes #2 with the door open.  I hate it.  I don't know if he feels badly when I close the bathroom door, but I never experienced this before.  It's grosses me out so bad.
  • This lady at my job ALWAYS wears sandals and no socks (even in snow), yesterday in the lunchroom she was rubbing her bare feet.  I was the only one that had just the right angle to see it, it was nasty and I was so glad I was done eating.
  • I love him with all of my might but Mr. Panda is the most disgusting chewer ever.
  • Coco - that's what you're supposed to do with hard contacts if you have no other alternative.  I also pour water on mine all the time to rinse them off because I'm not going to carry a big bottle of solution with me everywhere.

  • all the men in the office manage to get piss all over the washroom. There will be puddles on the floor, yellow dried piss on the rim (they don't put the seat or the lid down), and it from time to time they don't flush. Piss grosses me out.

And, because we don't have 25 employees, we don't have to designate between mens' and womens' washrooms.

  • The men in our office are disgusting, too. In the last two months I've gone into the restroom and found the TP empty at least a dozen times (thanks, guys), hair (vom), and the seat is always up.

  • Chew on their toenails...pee in sinks...only wash their hair twice a year...

  • I didn't even know people wore hard contacts anymore!

Some of the bathrooms here are unisex and it can get gross but women are just as bad.  We had layoffs and they retailiated in the bathroom. Poor janitor.

  • This chick in my building sits on our lunchroom couch with her shoes off and her bare feet on the couch.  I can't sit on that couch anymore because I think of her nasty bare feet up there.

I can't wear soft contacts because of the combination of my astigmatism and the severity of my prescription.

  • The other day FI clipped his toenails outside in the backyard and then THREW THEM IN THE BUSHES.  Then Bowser ran to go see what was in the bushes.  He almost died that day, I hate toenails.

At least he didn't just fling them across the living room like my FI. I'd be proud as punch if Mark took his clippings out to the bush.

Haha! Hilarious.  He clips his in the living room but I hover and yell at him to make sure he collects them ALL.  It must have been a nice day when he decided to do it in the back yard?
  • People that do that snot sucking thing in public. EW!  I do not want to hear your mucus issues while I'm at a restaurant or anywhere else for that matter.  Go to the bathroom.
  • I'm surprised how many people do not wash their hands on the boat when they use the head.  We can hear the water pumps come on and know when they turn on the water or not.   Plus the trash can is rarely full with paper towels.

Surprisingly, the men seem to do a decent job in aimming into the toilet.  I do not have to clean up much pee from the floor considering the boat is moving up and down.

  • All the cyclists I know, including my mother, do the one-nostril snot projectile thing to clear their nose while riding. It is so gross.

  • Lynda, maybe they sit down?  I know I had a hard time standing while drunk and on the ferry.  Stairs and the bathroom were both dangerous.  Bruising may have occurred.

My ex used to put his clippings in the ashtray on his living room table, then would proceed to never dump it out, and just pile up the burning butts. Burnt toenails smell disgusting as fuuck.

Maybe  Ivy.  Althought our ride is a little smoother than the Caneel ferry.

Besides, I can't tell you how often I've come down the stairs and noticed a guy peeing because they did not close the door.   Seriously, we are a resort for god's sake, don't you think we would put doors on our bathrooms?

The ride from downtown to Caneel is called seasick alley for a reason.   I'm glad we do not do the route.
