I need help! My wedding is in three months and I'm stuck for ideas on how to display seating cards to direct guests to their tables.
A bit about my wedding... We're getting married on a steamship in Muskoka. The ship is a modern replica of the ships that once sailed there in the 1800s.
After the ceremony we are going to golf clubhouse for our reception. We have carried the nautical theme through to the reception in a few ways. We have lanterns as our table centrepieces and our tables will be identified by the old steamships that used to sail in the region. We scanned historic photographs of the ships and each table will be identified by that particular ship.
What I'm stuck on is how to creatively display our guest's seating cards in keeping with the theme of the tables being named after ships. Guests will not be directed where specifically to sit at their respective tables, so place cards are not required at the tables themselves.
Does anyone have any creative ideas?
