    Yep.

She said it wasn't her.  She never made a public announcement on the boards (at least not here on SB), but when people asked, she said she didn't do it and that there was no point in proclaiming her innocence because people would just say it made her look more guilty anyway (truefax).
    image

  • Honestly, the whole "We TRACKED her and ZOMG we were all detective-like on her ass and it's TOTALLY her" thing was so beyond ridiculous.

I would have defended myself, but I can see why others wouldn't.

Do you remember when we had a thread on here when all the shiit went down telling people not to jump to conclusions it was her? We didn't want a witch hunt. But then some of E took that to mean SB was 'protecting her evil.' That sucked. Also, both Squirrly and Dani seemed to have hard evidence. I could be wrong though which is why I asked. Personally, it smells to me like she did it and I waited a long time to come to that conclusion.
  • I don't know if I would bother defending myself that much.
I mean, I could give a shiit if some people thought it was me. But if my friends here started accusing me? I'd borrow that flaming middle finger from Username and be done with it.
    image
  • And the moment Squirrly and Dani thought it appropriate to put their invasive and inconclusive "evidence" out her on TK, I lost all respect for them. There, I said it.
    image
  • Ive seen my IP address show up as far as Ottawa (like 5-6 hours away from where I live?) for weeks at a time, so I dont think thats an fool proof way to find out who it was.
  • The "hard evidence" was the IP, that's it.  Nothing else.  I bet if we did a survey here of IP addresses, at least 1/4 of ours would say somewhere completely different than where we live.

<div>exactly agree with this.  Especially with the orange banner.  No, being a mod doesn't mean anything really in this case. But, to people who don't really understand- that orange banner means you KNOW what you're talking about, and even some of the regs thought they had inside scoop from TK/KA.  That's not fair to FutureMrs.  I really don't think it was her, but I don't know one way or the other.</div>
  • I just read the whole thing as a few people having way too much time on their hands, living out their dreams of becoming Ramona (was she the little girl reporter?).  It was way lame.  Also, the whole "we did an extensive search!" and it turned out to be an IP address was dumb.  Sorry, but I don't even know a lot of computer schiznit and I know that isn't that difficult to do.

    Posted by marriedfilingjointly[/QUOTE]

Yeah I agree with that.  As we've all talked about before, the creator of the sitethatshallnotbenamed is an obvious twat face, but no one had to send in any call outs, either.  The site could not go on unless people fed it with garbage.  And they did.

On one hand yeah I'd want to know who sent them in, but on the other hand... knowing might be sad, too.  I like to think that the friends I've made on this site would never do such a thing.  But can we be sure?  Shittay

As much as I would hate to see anyone I like hurt, I would kind of like people to see the evil that their so-called "friends" are capable of.  I guess I'll just have to be patient and let things run their own course.  The truth comes out eventually.

  • So I have been thinking about it, and I am going to take the dbag poll down. I honestly did not think how it would translate in terms of the anonymous percentages from a written poll you attach your name to. It was poor judgement on my part and I apologize.

I would also like to add no one MADE me feel like I had to do this. I thank you guys for pointing out to me how that poll looked and I see it differently now.

I don't want this to affect the fun nature the rest of the polls can have for us this slow holiday week :)

That's what I told my students.

No seriously, we were talking about it one day in the last few minutes of class and one of my girls goes, "Well, whatever you guys.  Me and Ms. Nates will be laughing at all of you while you get eaten by zombies. So there." It was priceless.

Its too true. I would rather be prepared for something that never happens, than be unprepared and become a fucking zombie. Its pretty easy logic.
  • I will also add that the zombie talk brought up an interesting conversation about death and how common fearing death is (one of my boys has recurring zombie nightmares).  We talked about devolution and film references and it was deep.  Zombies are deep, yo.
