BM Dress help!

Hi ladies!  So I need help choosing my BM dress color! My wedding colors are blush pink and ivory. I do not want their dresses to be ivory, and I feel that a blush pink dress will "wash" their color. (all my girls are fairly pale skinned) Also, since all my girls are currently unemployed, I am looking for a VERY cost friendly option as well as something that they can wear again. So my question is, do you think black dresses will be too harsh looking with all my softer colors? I was also planning on putting the guys in grey suites, but if the girls are in black I would most likely put them in black as well. Please share your thoughts! Thank you!

I think black would work. With the lighter colors up against the black it will probably pop even more, IMO.

You could also put the girls in grey to match the suits and I think that would be a good color combo as well and they could wear grey again

I agree with PP... I would go with grey dresses rather than the black...since grey is a softer color

You could do a slate grey, sage green, or even a light blue. I think those colors would look really nice with your color scheme.

I had a similar issue. My colors are blush and silver/pewter but blush and grey washed my girls out and they all said they were too sad for dress colors so we decided on a deep raspberry color. It's not going to be present anywhere except their dresses but I felt it was more important to have them wear a nice color that would stand out on them in pictures than follow my color sheme so exactly. I think with your colors you could also look for a deep pewter color (the dress we loved was chiffon so that wasn't an option for me :/ ) or maybe add in a new color like mauve or a deeper shade of blush pink (more like dusty rose). You could also do richer colors like wine or navy. HTH!

I vote for sage green...I think. I vote for a light green that would be reminiscent of rose leaves to go with the rose and ivory colors. (I don't really know what sage green is...)

Thank you for all your input ladies! Mich2412, you took the idea right from my head! I LOVE the look of navy dresses. Do you girls think that would work? And keep the guys in grey? Thanks!!

I LOVE navy! I think that will definitely work and it's  neutral so it won't clash with your palette! GL!  Show us the dresses you decide on :)

How about something with both pink and white.

I used Lilly Pulitzer for my girls dresses and they were turquoise and white. My colors were blue and ivory but we couldn't find a perfect blue so we went with turquoise which I loved.

You could so something like this
