Wedding in Maui

I am helping a friend do some research to figure out a budget for her wedding. She wants to do it in Maui and would like to get a wedding planner since we are in Texas. They are very simple and do not want to spend an outrageous amount. Any ideas for them, what a min budget amount should be, wedding planners, etc.?

    Hi and welcome!

    The amount for a wedding planner varies depending on what it is you want them to do for you.  Some wedding planners can be hired for day of services but can suggest vendors to you where you would have to contact the vendors yourself. Others can help guide you along and make inquiries on your behalf if you want them to and others will do EVERYTHING for you.  I would suggest thinking about what it is your friend and her fiance wants in a wedding and then find some suggestions.  Will it be just the two of them and so they be better off doing a wedding package, will there be a a large group of people attending so vendors need to be booked separately?  Once those details are thought out then you would have a better idea of what kind of wedding planner/coordinator you would need.
