    Follow this roughly. Set your budget with your FI, and decide what type of wedding you guys want.

    Do just as she said above and look into a planner. They can help you along.  My career is a wedding planner but I hired one for my own wedding. It took a lot of pressure off of me!

    start with a guest list - write down all the peopel you would want to invite with your Fiance and then go from there.
    Figure out a budget - see what you can realistically afford
    think of a date you want - and then have a back up date just in case.
    find a venue - visit several places. You'll know wich one you want. that decision was a lot easeir than I thought.
    after that it's pretty easy - finding the other vendors start falling into place. :)
