How long do you have to wait before you can get a copy of your marriage license?

    It depends on how quickly your officiant returns it back to the clerks office and they have it recorded.  Usual turn around at my office is 2 weeks, but sometimes is sooner

    We got ours two weeks later when we returned from our honeymoon but I don't know if it was ready before that.

    I drove to city hall and waited about 4 minutes.
