Ugh, I just need a venting post

I hurt my foot a few years back and instead of going to the doctor I toughed it out until my dad made me go. I went to thee doctor and discovered I broke my foot... but reset it myself. So there was nothing they could do for me. 

Fast forward to 3 weeks ago, decided it was a great idea to add jump roping to my work out routine. Hurt my foot again. Finally went to the doctor today and they believe I may have fractured it, but I have to have an MRI to be sure. If it is a fracture I have to see a specialist. Greatttttt

Drive back to our apartment and lock my keys in the car. WHAT IS MY LIFE?

    oh my god....I feel your pain!! I fractured my foot in college (fifth metatarsal) when we were running stairs as part of our dryland training for swimming and what did I do? I wiped out and fell all the way down the stairs.  Breaks in feet SUCK! There isn't much doctors can do.  I wore a boot for awhile but basically just had to let it heal itself. 

    Get an MRI asap!! I have had to get bone scans too because sometimes the fractures are so tiny other forms of radiology don't show them...hopefully you won't have to do that too!

    They did an Xray today which didn't show anything. Thats why they want to do an MRI.

    and thank God for Triple A! They just rescued my keys :)

    I'm so sorry!!!! I had a fracture in my foot from ballet that never healed and TO THIS DAY it hurts when 1) I am tired, or 2) there's bad weather. It reset itself incorrectly so it's just something that'll always hurt.

    At least you got your keys! Hope your day gets better :)

    yep...mine didn't heal right either.....I can predict weird weather spells by the pain I feel in my foot. Even though I broke it in 2004!!!

    I broke mine is 1999 when I was dancing with the Royal Ballet! Seriously, I think it's going to be like this forever!
