Looking for Venue in Charlotte or Winston-Salem area

I just got engaged on 12/24. DF and I would like to have outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception in the fall of 2012. We are on a tight budget, and would even consider a morning wedding with a brunch reception to save money.

We would even consider having our wedding the mountains of NC if we found a place we like.

Check out county parks. They usually run around $500 for 5 hours and some include an onsite inside reception hall. Discounts if you live in-county. I had a friend who was married at Jetton Park in Cornelius, NC (outside of Charlotte). They have a beautiful gazebo area as well as areas that look out over Lake Norman.
