  • Re: FBILs STILL haven't been fitted

You’re not screwed if they don’t show. You can still go on with your wedding. This is not something to get yourself worked up over.

I would personally let sleeping dogs lie at this point.

Take your mother up on her offer. You shouldn’t be asking your family and friends to be funding your wedding, which is basically what you’re doing. Your chefs catering for free - who is purchasing the food? They’ll be spending their time working your wedding instead of enjoying it as a guest.
What about the wine vendor? How are they getting free product? Nothing is ever free.

  • Re: Anyone watching the Bachelor?

I just watched the first episode.

Banjo taxidermy girl. Goodness. What will they think of next.

When I first saw her, I though that Chelsea reminded me so much of Olivia and not in a good way. Looks and facial expressions. And then she started talking and it was like, "Oh, yea, even more!" I wonder if they're related.

ETA: Arie in a suit walking over sand dunes. The end.
I thought the same about Chelsea! Totally reminds me of Olivia.

TK is not letting me quote. But @jjjenifer that is terrible advice. Eating just veggies or an apple for dinner is extremely unhealthy. You’re basically just starving the weight off, and not only is it not sustainable, you’ll end up screwing up your metabolism. Your body needs fuel to properly function and to build muscle.

Also, saying “no chips/fries ever” is just setting yourself up for failure. Allow yourself one cheat meal per week. Eat some fries. Have a glass of wine. Eat a dessert. Its about moderation.
Sure. You can have it your way if you have 2 years to loose 20 pounds. While I guess for people don't have that much time, they'll opt for a faster way. No chips for your whole life is cruel, but it's not that strict in two months. Everyone can do it. After that, you can try to pick it up once a week or so. While I have to say no pains no gains, especially when your big day is coming and you kinda want to look amazing on it.
I lost 15 pounds in 3 months doing it the healthy way. Not 2 years and I didn’t have to starve myself like you’re suggesting. Please stop with the terrible advice.
