Ok...I need help! Our venue has a dance floor however its located off to the side and both me and my FI and parents don't like it so we are renting a dance floor to be put in the center of the venue.

Ok...I need help! Our venue has a dance floor however its located off to the side and both me and my FI and parents don't like it so we are renting a dance floor to be put in the center of the venue. Our venue can rent one for us 19 x 19 for $400. Is this expensive? I can get a 15 x 15 for like $250 with an outside company...whats an adequate size you could use?

Thanks
Kim :)

Pricing depends on your location. Personally, off to the side wouldn't be a big deal for me and I wouldn't worry about renting another floor. But if it's in your budget no biggie. =)

Have you asked if you are even allowed to use an outside company?  If you can, I'd go with the outside vendor as long as they have a size that works for you.

Adequate size will depend on the number of guests you have.

I was quoted a 16x16 dance floor for $384 so I would say that's a good deal.

The wedding is in Michigan. We are having about 100 guests. I did ask the manager if we have to go with them or if we can use an outside vendor and he said we could use an outside vendor. We made room in our budget to include the extra cost for this dance floor since all of us agree on it. The dance floor they have we are designating that area for gifts and our photobooth :)

Don't forget to add delivery charges to the cost of the rental dance floor.
