Wedding Woes

It's Friday!

Whatcha into this weekend?

There is a big bonfire in town Sat night we might go to.  6let is obsessed with smores so we thought he'd have fun.  If it's nice we might hit a pumpking patch, if not the science museum has a lego exhibit that could be fun.

Re: It's Friday!

  • I was going to take the girls to the zoo today but I think it's just too cold.  We'd head over right after we took Son to school and it's only 34* right now.  I might try again one day next week.

Tomorrow son has a baseball game but I'm not taking the girls if it's too cold.  They'd be miserable and I wouldn't be able to watch the game so it would be pointless.

Sunday we're going to a pumpkin patch.  I love the pumpkin patch.  :)
  • YAY Friday.

Tonight: Hanging out.  A little shopping. I'm hoping to get my Halloween costume together.  I think I'm going as a witch since I have an all black outfit.

Tomorrow: Cross country meet and then DH is rolling out for his 'man party'.  I'm hoping MIL comes over for dinner.

Sunday: I may go get a haircut and do some shopping for my growing boys that I can't keep in clothes that fit them.  And then just hanging out and watching football.
  • I need a haircut, but I'm putting it off until November.  I am scheduling a prenatal massage for a few weeks from now.
  • Tonight: flying home. Tomorrow: some chores. It is supposed to be nice weather so I think I may take DS to the park. Looks like we're finally done with the summer heat! Sunday: flying to NJ for work.
  • H comes home tonight.  Tomorrow is our anniversary and we're just chilling, eating some damn-good pizza, and watching football.

Sunday H is working a bit, which means I can catch up on tv and housework.

  • It's reset weekend.  I'm tired of losing/gaining the same 5 pounds, so I'm getting back on track.  We are cleaning the house and garage this weekend.  Other than that, sleep, sleep and more sleep.
  • Let's see...probably pumpkin patch tomorrow and friend coming over...maybe another one on Sunday, not sure, we'll see how errands/weather/time goes

Although DH has informed me that I've been in a "mood" today.  So yeah, this weekend's going to end well :/

  • Tonight we're going to a friends house for a bonfire and smores (6 - DD is obsessed with them, too) and probably roast some weenies.
Tomorrow - I'm going to make some chili, go to ballet class and then watch the OSU game in the evening.   Our neighborhood is having a big tailgate party with outdoor screens and food trucks.   Should be fun.
Sunday we are going to the Renaissance Festival.   DD will dress up.  DH and I will not.
  • I wanted to go to Ren Faire/pumpkin patch/Zoo Boo, but it's supposed to be almost 90 and humid all weekend, so that's all out. We'll probably spend half of the weekend in the pool.

Wolverine and DK need to go get flu shots, and we're probably going to have a play date with my mom group tomorrow morning.

We're going out on Saturday (all 3 of us) to my favorite restaurant in Houston to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary ( which is Sunday).

otherwise, weekend will be low key.

  • AF- they have projection screens to show the game at the bonfire here so it should be fun.  He's had smores exactly one time- tday last year so I have no clue where it's coming from.  We can't pass the marshmallow aisle w/o him spewing about smores.

Maybe they've been talking about it at school?
  • He was doing it long before school.  I'm going to try to use it to my advantage to see my family for Tday though (they do them the night before).  We'll be at his family the first weekend in Dec for Christmas anyway.  If that fails I'll pull the pregnancy card.
