Hey all- newest member of the OMH club checking in! We got married 9/13 and had just the GREATEST day. Almost everything went as planned, though I'm a bit of a control freak, so my 'almost' is just really a normal persons 'everything'. The only hiccup was that after the ceremony my H's boutonniere broke! My Dad went to give him his, and his broke too! My Dad then ran across the street to the flower shop ( how convenient that there's a florist right across the street from the church!) and got two new ones! Then we were off and rolling on pictures! The Reception was great and I am so happy we decided to show up right at 5pm to see people.
When we were planning, we always said "the ceremony was about us, the reception is for our guests", and I can't tell you how glad I am that we did that. Our guests had a blast, and everyone was raving. It made us feel so darn good to see everyone enjoying themselves! All in all it was just a perfect day and I wish I could relive it all over again!
