Bouquet and Garter Toss - Yes or No?

It used to be a fun thing, but it has been ruined. The bouquet toss has degenerated into a bunch of women thinking they have to fight each other for the bouquet, flopping face down on the floor, or refusing to give it up, tug-of-war style.

I went to a wedding where no guy wanted to participate in the garter toss. The guys, including some kids, just stood there and watched as the garter plopped on the floor. Then some 12 year old picked it up.

I voted yes, because if you don't do the sleazy garter hunt or the creepy putting it on whoever caught the bouquet, they can be fun.

Also don't single out single people.

But definitely don't do them if you don't want to.

    Honest Opinion Please,
i was thinking since I am having my wedding in Vegas I was thinking of having a bouquet/garter toss for luck.  Not for single people but for everyone to attend to wish them luck on the casino floor.  Should we do it or not??

I wouldn't do it "for luck". I've seen some Vegas brides attach a $20 or some scratch-offs to it and then throw it. That keeps it Vegas-themed and doesn't exclude anyone.
