Good morning everyone! I'm at the office already because I have an appointment at 9:45 which is right down the street from where I work so I figured working from home today wouldn't be worth the drive.

I might go home at lunch time depending on how I feel after my appointment.

How was everyone's weekends?

My weekend was good, I'm still pregnant...obviously lol. I feel so different though, I think Callie has dropped even further because my hips have been hurting like crazy and I've been getting some lower back pain with a lot of pressure so I think she is getting to where she needs to be. Fingers crossed!!

Friday DH worked so I went out to dinner with my parents after CrossFit. I did a ton of squats at CrossFit so my legs were super sore the rest of the night so it took me a while to fall asleep.

Saturday morning DH and I went to the park with Maddux and walked around a lot. Then afterwards we ran a ton of errands. He thought it would be a neat idea to make homemade pizza on our new smoker so we gave it a try lol. It failed miserably...it cooked in a matter of 0.2 seconds and burnt lol. So we ordered pizza and watched football. I slept really lightly all night so Sunday morning I was dragging a little.

We went to church with some friends and grabbed lunch afterwards. I cleaned and organized the house most of the day took a long nap that afternoon. Last night I slept like absolute crap...seriously crap. Callie was moving around and pushing down on me and I could not get comfortable. Worst night of sleep yet.

I really hope to receive some good news at my appointment this morning that she has made some progress. It sure feels like she is preparing to make her exit soon so fingers crossed that this week is THE WEEK!

Friday, H and I went out to dinner and then headed into the city to my friend's birthday party. I hadn't seen her in about a year because she moved to London for work and some of my other friends from college were there who I haven't seen in even longer than that. We had a great time and it was so nice reconnecting with old friends.

Saturday, I went to yoga, then food shopping, ate lunch, and then went to the new TJ Maxx by my house. I bought jeans, a sweater, and awesome burgundy ankle pants that I'm obsessed with! I also got some stuff for the house including new curtains and a throw blanket for my living room. H and I took Lucy to the dog park for about an hour and then I cooked dinner (Home Chef Za'atar Spiced Chicken Pita Platter with Tzatziki Sauce and Cucumber Tomato Salad -- DELISH) and lounged around with H for the rest of the night.

Yesterday, we cleaned the house and then played tennis because it was so gorgeous outside! H headed into the city to watch the Dolphins game and I stayed home, waiting for my parents to arrive. We had a nice night with a delicious meal (I made crockpot salsa verde chicken tacos with all the fixins) even though the Eagles fucking sucked and I went to bed angry again this week. 

Tonight, I'm working until 5, will get home around 6:15 and then I'm heading to the gym to do the elliptical for an hour. Dinner will be HC Cuban-Style Pork Chops with Avocado Salad and Citrus-Caramelized Onions. YUM!

@Swazzle I love how your living room looks! It's perfect!! Also all the food you made this weekend sounds absolutely delish!! I've been on a taco craze lately and those sounded noms!

Weekend was fairly boring. Nothing special, but I needed the rest really. I've had so much on my plate lately that I needed to give myself a break.

Friday night we had a really awesome steak dinner and went to my grandma's house. She loves time with BF and me. I'll have to share that story of how my mamaw is the reason BF and I are together. It's the cutest.

Saturday - Lunch with mom and brother, and football with BF's parents. His three year old nephew said, "Cece, come watch game?" So of course I had to go.

Sunday I woke up with an awful stomach bug thing or something. Couldn't go to early service, but BF came over after and brought me a ginger ale, and that really helped. Then, we went and bought my mom a new oven since her burner bit the dust. My dad was so surprised and thanked us over and over. I went with my dad and BF to pick it up. In BF's words, "I'd go to the ends of the earth for your mom. Without your mom, there's no you." LOVE him. Yes, I'm mushy, but can't help it. He's the perfect fit for me.

Tonight, I'm going home and baking some chocolate chip cookies from scratch and will watch DWTS with my mama. We're rooting for Bindi Irwin. That show is one of my guilty pleasures.

I am -1.4 lbs this week which puts me at -3.4 overall since I started being active and eating better on September 8th!

@southernpeach89 You completely faked me out when you called me last night! I was thinking "THIS IS IT! SHE'S IN LABOR!" but then no lol. I am so glad Callie seems to be moving more towards making her grand entrance and I am literally crossing everything (even my eyes) that you get some good news on her progress this morning!

@Swazzle Your house is seriously a model home. And Lucy is the perfect model too!!!!!!

I am so tired this morning. I ended up working til around 8 on Friday night before I finally quit. 

Saturday I worked a little in the morning but I was able to accomplish a lot Friday night (it's amazing how much you can do when you don't have people constantly IMing you and asking you to join calls). Then I ran a bajillion errands. I got our other niece's birthday present in the mail, returned some stuff, stocked up on wine and PUMPKIN beer! Then I snuck off to H's favorite woodworking store and picked up part of his anniversary gift from me. He had to work all day Saturday so I was able to get home before him and find a good hiding place for the stuff.

Sunday we met up with some friends. They won tickets to a VIP pool "party" at a downtown hotel. It was super nice, we had our own reserved table and the tickets included a free drink for each of us. We hung out for a few hours, got some sun and and swam in the pool a little before heading back to their apartment. Then we took the pups to the dog park where Cinders proceeded to make a ho of herself to all the other boy dogs there. Then we went out for freaking AMAZING bbq. I'm super picky about my bbq and this stuff was seriously some of the best. Their sauce was the perfect complement - it was tomatey and just a little bit spicy and perfect! And their mac and cheese....omg!!!! While I was there I got a call from @southernpeach and I seriously thought she was calling to tell me she was in labor, but no. On the plus side, I found out that I get to take care of Maddux when Callie is born....so get ready for tons of Maddux/Cinders photos to accompany the barrage of baby pictures! Maddux and Cinders love each other so much and it's so adorable when they are together!

Today my Stitch Fix is supposed to arrive!!!! I'll try to AW it this afternoon but I may be too busy and it may have to wait for tomorrow....we'll see. I can't wait! I peeked and I think I will definitely love at least 2 things as long as they fit, the other 3 things I am iffy on depending on color and fit. I'm receiving 4 tops and a pair of cropped pants!

@labro sorry I freaked you out! DH said after I hung up that I shouldn't call people this week because I might give them a heart attack lol. Thank you seriously for watching Maddux for us when we make our way to the hospital. I know he will enjoy being with Cinders while we are away.

My weekend was pretty boring overall. Friday night I had to be at the theater.  The show was not great at all, but I got to see some friends, it was a bit emotional too.  Saturday I went to yoga and ran some errands. Then H & I went to look for sheets and a comforter set for our new bed coming on Wednesday.  I really would love to repaint our master bedroom, it's so big though and I'm so lazy.  I hate the green color it in now and it's only 2 years old.  Saturday night we also watched a movie and just relaxed.

Sunday was pretty boring, stayed in did a lot of studying.  H did some things around the house, then we watched Fear The Walking Dead while eating Moe's.  The weekend went by way too fast, I can't believe it's Monday again.  I did not sleep well and all I want to do is go crawling back under the covers.  I hope 5pm gets here quickly today.

@peaseblossom55 Yay for a new bed!! DH mentioned to me this weekend that we will need to get a new mattress probably in the next year or so...I'm so looking forward to that. I love sleeping in new beds!

Not much.

Friday I met my mum for dinner. Idk what happened but my stomach was awful all day. Luckily Matt was able to drop some pepto and my shorts off. The waistband is so much better and I couldn't button my jeans.

We chit chatted for awhile, ate mucho burrito {veggie quesadilla for moi!} We planned on getting their brownie, but the line was so long we gave up.

Ended up going to grab a coffee/donut at Tim Horton's and met up with mum's coworker. Since I'm possible selling steeped tea soon, I've been amping up my customer base. So far I'm feeling like i'd be successful.

Saturday not much. Friend came over with her 6 month old son and we chatted tea {she sells now and that's where I wanted info} Matt and baby chilled and watched "Despicable Me" but unfortunately he's teething so they ended up having to leave early.

Didn't do much else.

Sunday I wanted to get some pants and tops but every thing I'd seen before wasn't in stock. Rawr! Picked up 2 movies - "Big Hero 6" and "Age of Adeline". Matt bought 2 movies and a 6 inch figure of Baymax :') We're basically big kids.

Matt made dinner and we watched "Big Hero 6" and I cried. Lol It's a great movie, but tear jerker.

Today is a long day for me. At work half hour early as I have to leave a bit early because my tax course is tonight. Monday and Wednesdays I'm 8:30-4:30 work, then 6-9 course.

Well my weekend went by way too quickly.  My deal didn't close on Friday so I spent a good chunk of the weekend reading equity documents....fun time, guys, fun time.  Other than that, on Friday I cooked H's Indian food, ate an awesome salad and we watched Alien.  

Saturday was spin in the morning first thing and a long hike with H after that.  All that good fitness stuff had to be counter acted with something so we also went out for drinks Saturday night.  The bar had great reviews but the bartender was brand new and didn't know how to make anything.  I ordered a Lemon Drop Martini and had to explain how to make it...sigh...whats the point in going out then?  H and I only had one drink there then went to a better bar.  I also had gluten free pizza so, yeah, eating fail.

Sunday was more work, food shopping, leftover pizza eating and meal planning for the week.  I spent about 4-5 hours in the kitchen/on the grill.  I've got to find a way to be more efficient at cooking so my entire Sunday doesn't get spent in the kitchen.

@minskat30 I love the color we painted the nurser Behr's Burnished clay but I'd love some neutral gray tone or blue gray.  H is ok with repainting even though he hates painting.   I think he hates seeing me so down right now and will do anything to make me happy.

This weekend was the first relaxing one H and I have had in awhile!
Since last week was rough for me at work, H and I had comfort food on Friday - fettuccine alfredo from my favorite restaurant. We ordered it to go so we could stay home and watch t.v.
Saturday I took care of a few things, like FINALLY getting my wedding gown cleaned and preserved. It's only been 11 months....then H and I went to help out a friend who's dad is starting a photobooth business. We went to their house and got to play around with the props and take goofy photos for him to use for his business. Then we went to go see the new Maze Runner movie - it was good, but I cannot believe how many inconsiderate people were in the theater on their phones. It angered H so much that he got a manager to talk to the guy in front of us which finally got him to put away his phone. I mean, what's the point of even going to a movie if you're going to be on you phone the whole time?!
Sunday was a glorious day of nothing. I stayed in pj's until 5pm and then H and I went for a walk. We came home, had leftovers, and watched more t.v. Awesome day.

@beachyone15 I personally found it amazing. There are some heart-wrenching scenes, especially near the end. I don't want to give too much away but I found it more heart-wrenching just because of a previous experience

@minskat30 thanks, we will see if we get the motivation to repaint.  I'm so lazy about it. I've been complaining about it since we moved it and it's been two years.  I painted the room and once we moved in the furniture I hated the color.  first world problems for sure.

@minskat30 - I use MyFitnessPal to log/track my food because it has literally EVERY food imagineable so it's the easiest. I have it linked to my FitBit so the calories just transfer over to that and they numbers are usually comparable. 

@beachyone15 - I've been married for 2.5 years and my wedding dress is still dirty, whoopsie. Did you read the Maze Runner books?

HI!! I'm going to try to catch up with everyone quickly this morning before I get into actual work mode. 

Last week was the busiest ever. I was on the road every day, visiting radio stations to do promo deliveries for my client. It was so much fun, but it made for a really long week. Friday I had an event in Massachusetts, so I didn't get home till late. Saturday I had an event ALL day - I was out of the house by 8:30am, and didn't get home until 7:30pm. I was on my feet almost the entire time - they're still sore! H & I ordered Chinese food when I got home because I didn't want anything to do with anything but laying on the couch. 

Yesterday was nothing but yogs, slippers, and football, and it was GLORIOUS. I snuggled with Violet and H, caught up on my magazine reading, and watched the Patriots smack the Bills around. 

I have a lot to do for work again this week, but I won't be as busy, thank goodness. Plus, I get to look forward to seeing @swazzle and @csousa1 on Friday, and I CANNOT WAIT. I need some quality time with my best girls

@peaseblossom55 yay for a new bed! If you end up repainting I highly suggest a greige.  I have Behr french silver in my living room and master bedroom, and it seriously compliments everything.  Plus now I can get any bedding I want.

The wedding wasn't too bad. My dress was amazing, I love RTR so much.  I thought the dress was going to be burgundy, but it was actually a deep purple. My bf wore a gray suit.  It wasn't until we got to the ceremony that we realized we matched the bridal party colors. Oh well, we looked awesome.  We ended up inviting a bunch of friends back to our house after the ceremony to fill in the gap.  Then we drove together to the reception site. It was a really pretty venue, on top of the mountain.  The dj wasn't that great, which made everyone spend more time at the bar or outside than on the dance floor. I'm pretty sure I had a bottle of disaronno to myself. But still, majority of the guests were friends we everyone just hung out and made the best of it.

The highlight of the wedding was actually the birth of one of our friend's daughter.  Her water broke during cocktail hour so they were updating all of us throughout the reception.  The baby was born before the reception was over so we took a chalkboard from the hall and wrote a welcome message for the baby.  Then we took a big group picture and sent it to them.

Saturday, my bf and I were very hungover. I don't think we got out of bed until 9:30-10.  Then we had breakfast and I took a quiz for my one class.  I could barely focus on the screen and did horribly, but somehow I scored way higher than the class average.  So yay for me? My bf then decided he needed to work on the house.  Where the energy came from, I have no idea because I never left the couch.  Yesterday, I spent the day cleaning and running errands.  I wasn't able to clean and prep the front porch so hopefully I can do that this weekend so we can get it painted before it starts getting really cold. I also spent the night reading The Circle -- I'm halfway through and had to stop because it is freaking me out.

Ugh, sorry if this is a P&R this morning, I woke up with the WORST headache today. I've never had a sinus infection but I think this is it... It's throbbing pain on my left side and it hurts when I sniffle or sneeze. I took some cold and sinus medicine which usually helps (this happens to me a lot) so I think a doctor visit is in order soon.

My grades went up just a smidge this week, but this workload is so heavy. I took advantage of my school's free tutor.com benefit but I only get ten hours and I used about four yesterday just on my finance class. I am in week 5 out of 8 so it will be over soon. I guess a finance career isn't in my future lol.

I didn't do much this weekend again, a lot of homework, dinner with BF's family, and on Friday I babysat my friend's ten year old. They were so inspired by my Taylor Swift concert costumes I made that they asked me to help make a shirt for her Ariana Grande concert she's going to this weekend. It turned out great and we had a good time

Oh! And yesterday we had a very eventful day at work, a shoplifter got away with a ton of food from our refrigerated case. A regular saw him and told us, we went outside and asked the guy if he knew anything about the missing food and he said he put it back, but another regular chased him down and he ducked into a barber shop a block away. Cops were called, they went over, and found all of our stuff in the barbershop's bathroom garbage but the guy was gone. I didn't think it was that big of a deal but we did the right thing anyway. It's a small town, if he's stealing from Starbucks he's probably stealing from everywhere else.

@beachyone15 I hope so too! I guess we'll see. Work is going to be crazy through the end of the month, but I'm hoping that we'll be able to start finalizing some urgent items at work this week. I am exhausted!!!

@untouchablets - I hope your headache goes away! Advil Cold & Sinus is my saving grace. If you're blowing out green or yellow then it's a sinus infection. I've had about a billion of them and they suck every time. 

@beachyone15 - Hahahahaha I read the books recently. I wasn't sure if I was going to like them but then I was hooked. H and I watched the first movie last night and I really want to go see the new one!

OH, and because I was MIA last week, I haven't properly AWed my redecorated dining room Still need a few things (a table of some sort in the corner behind the pic, something in the middle of the table, some artwork) but we're getting there! 

The table was handmade by my brother-in-law as our wedding gift. I finished it (using an oxidizing technique I found on Pinterest, naturally) and then bought unfinished chairs and did the same finish on them. They're different woods, so they look different with the finish, but they all look so good together! I convinced H to paint the walls (it was a yellowish tan color before) and he painted the whole room while I was at an event on a Saturday a few weeks ago! He also installed the ceiling fan (I'm keeping him.) 

I'm in love!
