@TwoDimes HomeGoods had a TON of baskets and organization stuff yesterday so it's easy to buy all that stuff when it looks so cute! I'm just impressed with myself that I was motivated enough to go home and do something about it!

@jenjen047 that recipe looks great! We are so used to cooking double the food to have leftover lunches that I laughed so hard when the recipe was like "cut up THE potato". Like I would ever use just one potato?! I usually cut up and roast about 7 lol

@MissKittyDanger It's always funny to me when people consider "Nitro" to be a cool word... because that was my high school's name. (the city had a plant to manufacture explosives in WWI, which is where it got its name).
@minskat30 Bathroom fixtures are SO expensive! I bought a faucet years ago (for ex's house) and was surprised at how much that stuff cost.

@jenjen047 The amber releases a small amount of oil that is absorbed when the baby wears it. The oil helps with swollen and sore gums.

@Labro I have tried the gel but it doesn't seem to do a whole lot. I'm a little nervous about using the tablets since they are so small but they dissolve quickly so I just need to bite the bullet and try it. I'm just nervous she will inhale and choke on it.

@labro @twodimes I need to organize my house, and I have been saying this every day since I moved in. At first I was overwhelmed, and now I'm just lazy. At least I've been making baby steps of progress. Bought shelves for the office closet so I can organize in there and I bought a rack (lol, rack) for my pantry closet so I can do something there. My problem is that I get great ideas and then take for-ev-er to put them into action. I really want to have my house organized by April so I can have friends over to see the place and start making plans for installing a patio.

@TwoDimes and @labro BF and I did some cabinet organization last night. We have a cabinet that is half under the counter so we throw all Tessie's stuff down there, so we cleaned that all out. BF is actually going to take a vacation in a month or two just to clean and get things finished around the house. We also have a list a mile long to tackle!

@wink0erin @caseface5 I just do it an area at a time. The other week we re-did how our baking sheet cabinet was organized and we're using the space so much better now! I try to take on small, easy to accomplish in a few hours kinds of projects because otherwise I get overwhelmed and I don't get it all done. So last night was shoes, today I'm kind of feeling like I want to go through my clothes and start tossing some things I never wear. I'm trying to focus on areas of our closet right now. After I do clothes I'll probably look in to improving how we've organized the top shelf where we just have a bunch of stuff like haphazardly lying around up there.

Morning ladies! Nothing exciting here today... I have my first work event of the year on Saturday, so I'm planning for that, plus trying to get some other things handled, but I just have zero motivation. UGH. 

I'm still unmedicated for my ADHD, and it's really frustrating. I wish I could just tell myself to pay attention and get shit done, but it just doesn't work that way, unfortunately.

Uh...  panty-liners.  Not exciting.  No wait, Taco Bell yesterday.  Which made me sick all night.  Not a good life decision.

AW:  Today is my one year tumor eviction anniversary!

After my thyroidectomy.  I didn't realize how much pain the tumor was causing me until it was out.  My BP dropped 15 points after surgery because the underlying pain was causing it to be raised all the time.

Today, with my blotchy I-barfed-eggos-this-morning face.  The scar is so much smaller!

Wow...I get here and we're already 2 pages in and I'm a lot behind!

This week is insane...I got back from Dubai Monday night (I'll do a separate AW post this afternoon), and immediately went back to work and really hit the ground running because I leave for Budapest on Tuesday for a conference.  I hate feeling rushed and overwhelmed, and my anxiety is seriously kicking up...I had a panic attack last night for the first time in a long time.  I'm just telling myself that once I get through the conference things will calm down a little.

Brown tweed pants and a blue top; gold jewelry.  I'm feeling blah so no pictures.

2-If you got a new pet, what would you name it?
I have no idea.  I once named a pet "Abigail," which is a name I really love should I ever have a daughter, so now I feel like I can't use it for a child.  So, nothing human-appropriate, maybe.

3-Where is the next place that you are flying to?
Budapest!  Via JFK and Warsaw.

4-What is the last thing that you bought?
Groceries...so exciting.

@labro @twodimes - I need to organize my house too. We move in July and I'm determined to get rid of clutter that I keep moving from apt to apt without using. But every time a weekend comes around,even one without any plans, I just can't get motivated.

I'm making this tonight and I am so excited. It's easy and yummy.

One-hour gestational diabetes test came back negative!!!  



I don't really have an explanation for the large water weight gain but it must just be my body's lovely way of being pregnant I guess.

Last night was so much fun! The Mean Girls Quote-Along was hilarious. They had tiaras and hick teeth for everyone, and poppers for when a certain someone gets hit by a bus. The theatre wasn't very full, but we all had a great time. I would definitely attend another quote-along. They have a Pitch Perfect Sing-Along next week, but @audrewuh will be out of town.



Not too much else to report-- work is crazy busy, and I have no fun plans tonight. Just the normal workout, make dinner, maaaaaybe unpack a box, and catch up on one of the shows we're woefully behind on. We did finally catch up on TWD. Apparently we were four episodes behind. Oops. Tonight will probably be Better Call Saul.

Oh! H and I have already managed to pay off 2 of my loans now that we're getting aggressive with the payments. It's so exciting to see the total amount due get lower and lower and lower. I am SO ready to see it at $0. Summer 2017 is our current goal for that... and then we'll take a trip to Europe to celebrate. Let's hope we can keep up with this budget and that nothing happens to delay the big payments!

@wink0erin *hugs* Sounds like your ex was a real peach. Good on you for getting out of such a terrible relationship! I doubt you'll have the same issues this time around, but the great thing about living with someone before marriage is that you really get to know them and can decide if the relationship is worth it. I think you have a great attitude about how to make living with your boyfriend work.

@eilis1228 - Last year, I was going to a Sound of Music sing-along but it was cancelled because we had tornadoes that day, and they were never able to reschedule it.  I really want to go to something like that!
