We have a venue! (See my AW post) and I started giving tours of the Church this week.  So far, so good

Okay, phew.  Got that out.  Thursday is Canada Day aka no work and lots of beer.  FI and I are going to sleep in, have a BBQ and watch the fireworks.

Then this weekend we're going to visit his parents on Saturday (bringing the pugs to see Nana and Grampy hehe) and going to my family's Canada Day party, at the cottage, on Sunday.

3. How was your weekend?

Tiring.  I worked and cleaned the house.  Also, lonely b/c FI was away all weekend.  He didn't get home til 11 p.m. on Sunday.  Suckyyy

This week is A LOT for me but I'm really excited! Tonite I'm going to the midnight premire of eclipse with some friends. Thursday I have an untrasound to find out why I feel the need to pee every 5 seconds. Friday night I'm going to see Lady Gaga in Boston. Saturday I'm going to CT for the night to visit my old roomate. Then Sunday is a huge cookout at my cousins house for the 4th that I'm really looking forward to! haha thats it I think..

3. How was your weekend?
It was okay, had a good weekend, but yesterday kind of killed it for me with putting my cat down and I had some sort of stomach bug. Hopefully I will be able to have a better one next weekend.

Termites.  But they'll be dead and gone by Saturday.  Thank goodness!

Fly out tonight for a conference in Peru.  Will be there until Friday, so no time for sightseeing or anything fun.  Hoping to have some ceviche and local food at least!  I'm mostly glad that I can sleep somewhere without little termite wings all over everything.

Weekend?  I had a weekend?  Oh right... yeah, not really.  With this conference this week, I barely slept.

1. What's new in your life?
Besides getting married in 18 days?  We took my cat outside on his leash last night.  It was funny.

2. What is coming up this week for you?
Working.  Only 10 more workdays so I'm just trying to get it all done.  Then this weekend we're staying in a nearby hotel because we only need one more stay at a Hyatt to qualify for our last free night of the honeymoon.  Yes, FI has managed to stay enough times on business the past year that our honeymoon hotels will be free!

3. How was your weekend?
Awesome.  Had my little sister's graduation, then volunteered on Saturday doing some landscaping for a home for developmentally disabled adults.  Sunday we got lots of wedding stuff done.

1. What's new in your life?
My apartment! We're already halfway packed - only 4 weeks to go! Our bedroom furniture has been ordered and set to deliver, and we've also reserved a U-Haul. We're packing things little by little since our landlord has been kind enough to let us start putting boxes in the place as early as July 27th.

2. What is coming up this week for you?
Nada, except more job searching. I have a surgeon's appt this evening. Oh, and BF's best friend got us addicted to this RPG called Savage Worlds which is kind of like Dungeons and Dragons but less rigid and easier to follow. So Friday night has become our Savage Worlds night. We order pizza and play til 1am.

3. How was your weekend?
Slow, but fun. Mom and I went shopping on Saturday. BF and I packed up his closet and his 3 dressers (!!!) of clothes. Nothing doing, otherwise.

A good friend is getting married! We have her B-Party tomorrow night. Thursday night I'm going to Eclipse! Friday is her wedding. Then 4th of July weekend!! I love the 4th of July!! Will watch fireworks, go to the beach and grill with friends.

3. How was your weekend?

Exhausting.

Also, I'm down to 46 days and starting to freak out a little. I feel like there are tons of details that haven't come together and because of work and the move I haven't gotten to even think about wedding stuff for a few weeks now. Sigh.

1. What's new in your life?
Not much. Fi has been working a ton of hours so we can save up for a house and I've been working my usual 40. His grandma offered to give us his uncles pots and pans so FMIL will be making us a good set between his and her old ones until we decide to buy our own.

2. What is coming up this week for you?
Rents are going to my uncles for the 4th and I get to puppy sit. We just found out Binx has puppy mange so he is getting dipped tomorrow and the vet said he can't swim for 2 weeks. No lake fun for him

3. How was your weekend?
Went by too quick! Bachelorette party was fun and cousins Pampered Chef party went really well. The mini quiches were a hit also. I ended up buying a silicone mini muffin pan at B3 that only had 12 cups so I'll be putting the 24 cup one on the registry.

DEAL ALERT! Old Navy is still doing an extra 30% off everything. I just bought two sweaters and a pair for pants, and 20+ pairs of flip flops for under $100..SCORE!

1. What's new in your life?  Let's see...I graduated college in May.  I moved into my new apartment with BF a month ago...and we got a dog this past weekend.  Also, I'm starting law school in the fall.  I'd say this is a pretty big time of change for me.

2. What is coming up this week for you? 

Not a lot.  Working.  My best friend might come up from NY to celebrate the 4th of July with us.  I'm thinking about signing up for a week of CoreFusion classes by the end of this week.  (CoreFusion is a crazy mix of yoga, pilates, ballet, and something else that is the best toning workout I've ever had!)  

3. How was your weekend?  My weekend was pretty good.  Went to BF's mother's house to dogsit and ended up taking her dog.  Haha.

I may not have a job in the fall. I'm waiting to see exactly how many positions will be cut.

2. What is coming up this week for you?
I'm on vacation! Lots of wedding stuff. I finalized everything with the florist yesterday. We're meeting with a possible DJ on Saturday and I'm ordering the invitations today.

It was good. I ended up having a great birthday (I don't know why I even worried about it).

1. What's new in your life?
Not much with me specifically.  For those in the know, my dad is going through another round of tests.  Doctors still can't tell him much of anything.  He's in a ton of pain, so happy thoughts are appreciated.

2. What is coming up this week for you?
Work work work.  Finishing that runner.  Working on escort cards.  SEEING ECLIPSE!  This is the first of the Twilight movies I'm not going to the midnight showing for, and I'm actually a little sad.  A friend of mine wants to see it and can't go until tomorrow night, so I told her I'd go with her then.  FI said if I really wanted to go tonight he would go with me and we just wouldn't tell her and her DH that we'd already seen it, but I feel like that would be cheating.  Thoughts?

3. How was your weekend?
Good, and fairly productive.  I know I won't get a free day to clean house for another month or so, so I did that all day Sunday, as well as all our laundry.  Also, I finished designing my friends' wedding invitations and showed her how to assemble the pieces and put them all together.  :-)

I think I would wait. Granted, I've never seen a movie at the midnight showing so I'm much more laid back about seeing movies. I'm really not good at lying and keeping secrets so I'd wait simply because I probably wouldn't be able to keep it from my friend.

1. What's new in your life?
Not much. Found out how much my dad and step-mom are giving me in cupcake money. I'm slightly (okay very) frustrated, that since it was my christmas present it in no way compares in value to the $300 + Coach purse that step-sis got for Christmas. I know its not very mature, but urgh, hard not to be frustrated. I decided this year I'm saying I want a coach purse for christmas just to see if I'd actually get one. I doubt it.

2. What is coming up this week for you?
I have kickball on Thursday. Working on wedding stuff this weekend. Going to a friends house for the 4th. Found out I get next Monday off, so YAY!

3. How was your weekend?
I had my second dress fitting. The seamstress brought in the dress a bit too much (and I didn't gain any weight between the appoitments - well actually lost a pound) and I couldn't barely breathe. This was the case on both dresses. Hmmm. At least on the one it made me look greatly skinny, but I value breathing. I do love how the bustle turned out on the one though. Bustle is still being figured out wit the other.

Went to a few wineries on Sunday and had lunch at a German restaurant. Spatzle and German potatoe salad - YUMM!!

1) I don't have much new going on right now.  Trying to finish my thesis simultaneously with looking for a job, planning a wedding, and planning a move across three states doesn't leave much room for anything else.

2) Eclipse tomorrow.  So excited, even though lusting after Taylor Lautner makes me feel like a cougar-y old woman.

3) Weekend was good.  I bought my dress. Yay! :-)

I've been living with my BF for a month now, had a furbaby for a month and been a home owner for a month and a half, it has been an adjustment for sure.

2. What is coming up this week for you?

I'm with Paige - CANADA DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, since my BF is American I have 2 Independence Day parties to go to. Hopefully will get lots done around the house too. Looks like it'll be a nice weekend so I will get to do lots of gardening and am hoping the grounds of my house will start looking more under control.

3. How was your weekend?

Too fast. Watched lots of World Cup, particularly the USA vs Ghana and England vs Germany.  Did lots around the house and commenced hardcore gardening.

1. What's new in your life?
I am 75% 'done.'  Only 10 or so weeks to go.  And it seems that my sleepless nights have begun.  I cannot get comfortable, and when I do, Mr. Man sees that as an opportunity to do summersaults. 

The nursery is ALMOST ready to get furniture and be decorated! 

MIL went overboard, per usual.  She got our sprinkler system fixed.  Then, she pruned our transplanted roses with the hope that they can be saved.  Plus she hired a lawn guy to help us out until Mr. Man is 6 months old. 

2. What is coming up this week for you?
Bedrooms, living room and hallway are all getting flooring!  Once the trim is painted and the baseboards put in, the decorating will be begin.  We hope to start moving furniture in about 2-3 weeks, and moving in for real about 3 weeks after that. 

3. How was your weekend?
TOO BUSY!  Saturday, we watched the US game with DH's buddy.  Then DH pulled out all of the carpet, while I went shopping.  Mr. Man is going to have the best nursery ever.  Sunday, we did most of the flooring in the nursery.  Then, we had to go to a birthday party for DH's great aunt.  It was a big family reunion type deal, otherwise we would have bailed.  Pregnant lady + outdoor BBQ +104 degree weather = EFFING UNCOMFORTABLE.
We didn't get close to what we planned on accomplishing at the house this weekend.  Grrr.

Ex-best friend drama and ANTS in my apartment last night. Eek. But FI has been a CHAMP. AND we got our marriage license yesterday.

Final fitting/picking up dress TOMORROW! Meeting with officiant to plan ceremony on Thursday. Bach party Saturday!

Great! Got some cute new clothes that I'm excited to wear for the bach party this weekend, various weddingy events and HM. Good sales out there right now!

DH and I decided that its not in our best interest to move right now even though we could really use more space.  Also keeping fingers crossed that the call DH gets today is that he got manager job at office max. 

2. What is coming up this week for you?
Making new samples to run next week.  My drugs came in today YAY! And trying as hard as I can to study for these stupid exams.  Only 4 weeks left and I have no motivation to even read the material.

3. How was your weekend?
Pretty good.  Really didn't do much of anything, which was nice.  just wanted to relax a bit.

1. What's new in your life?
Living with BF.  So far so good... little man has been in heaven being there with the dog and the yard, he loves his new room and has slept great every night thus far!  I'm trying to sell some of the stuff we have doubles of on Craigslist and have to get the last of the stuff out of the apartment by tomorrow... gonna be busy getting it all out!

BF must have passed the lie detector/interrogation part of the hiring process because they are calling his refences now.  His current job that he hates was called and since they know that he will be leaving they asked him to work part-time rather than quit.  He agreed as long as they let him keep his benefits, they said yes.  He doesn't like the job but will be able to have steady income and benefits without having to go get an individual policy which would be pricey so it seems like a good plan.  Hopefully he can get on part-time at another fire department soon and completely quit the company!

2. What is coming up this week for you?
Work, getting the last of everything out of the apartment, spending time with my two favorite boys, organizing the kitchen and packing for the weekend.  BF and I are going "camping" this weekend and we are really looking forward to it since we can't do any vacations right now.

3. How was your weekend?
Good but tiring.  BF was OOT at a bachelor party for his good friend who is getting married on the 10th.  I got some stuff doen around the house and went and spent time with the women in BF's family and we had a blast... BF's mom and I rode together and she and I talked a lot about religion and what Jon and I have planned for our future.  I told her that I was considering converting and she reassured me that while they are all Catholic it is not expected for me to convert and that many people in their families had converted after marriage even.  I feel good knowing that his family will not be upset if I choose not to... not that I would make a decision based on their reactions but nice to know they won't hassle him about it if I don't.

Not much besides work...not working today though so running errands.

2. What is coming up this week for you?
Busy work schedule ~ I have a 4 on 4 off rotation with nursing for most of July but then I picked up some shifts on my 4 off lifeguarding. Basically, trying to save as much money as I can before Europe.

3. How was your weekend?
I worked but it was a great time. The doctor bought pizza on Saturday for lunch and we ended early on Sunday.
