Does anyone know anything about an online dress retailer called jj's house? Our bride has chosen the bridesmaid dresses from this site, but there is not one revew of any kind anywhere. Also, they only accept paypal and debit cards. We are worried that this place is a scam or that when the dresses come, they will be of a poor quality. Please tell us about them if you know anything--good or bad! The wedding is in June and we need to order something relatively soon.

Copies of designer dresses and I will bet poorly made.  Try Netbride or Pearl's Place to save.  They are real stores and sell real gowns cheap.

I agree with everyone else. Just had a nightmare experience with this company. I'd encourage everyone who has had a bad experience to file a complaint with www.econsumer.gov. I have already filed a complaint - if no one takes action this website will be able to continue to take advantage of people. The form literally takes 5 minutes! Let's help eachother out by flagging this company as disreputable!

YOU DO NOT WANT TO BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a custom sized bridesmaid's dress from them, which was supposed to be knee length. When it arrived, them hem was uneven, and ranged from 9-10 inches longer than it was supposed to be. I notified them immediately, and included photos. It took them a long time to get back to me to tell me that they made the dress to my specifications and that I'll need to have a local tailor fix the mistake at my expense. I told them that the hollow to floor measurement I gave them (53") was accurate, but that the dress they gave me was 46 inches from the shoulder to the hem, so unless they think my knee is 7" off the ground, they've made a mistake. They emailed me back saying that they'd made the dress correctly, but that I need to provide them with photos. I told them that I had and that if they look at the original message, they will be able to see them. They emailed me again saying the dress was correct and they needed photos. I emailed them again, telling them to scroll up to the top of the page, and they would be able to see the original message, with the photos. I could see them, so obviously they could too. The wedding is this weekend. I'm going to have to find a new dress in store, which is super frustrating because finding a knee length dress that will fit in store is almost impossible for me. And I'm still stuck with the terrible dress JJ House sent me. I'd file a dispute with my bank, but they made me pay through paypal. I'm so frustrated. Avoid these people at all costs!

Do not buy from them.  They do not honor their return policy.  I ordered a dress to see if I wanted to use it for my bridesmaids and they took 4 days to get back to me, then on two separate occasions, they took 3 days.  I ended up only getting a 35% refund and I still have the dress.  To a consignment shop it goes tomorrow.

 It's an alfed angelo dress, part of the sapphire collection. Maggie Sottero makes a similar dress for less with a corset back called mona lisa

This order from JJ's was messed up from the start  I could never use the order number they gave me,, when I finally did get a reply  it was all about their chinese holiday and their not working during that time.   After getting dress that I had made to fit me,, it is too small  and I have lost weight after the original measurements,,, the color is wrong,, ankle length drags the floor even with shoes,, threads stick out of the seams,, I was so stressed for weeks about dress, no wonder I lost weight.  So now I am beginning the process of trying to return,  their reply is please send pictures... HELLO   got a calander??   I would never order again and do not recommend them</div>

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM JJS HOUSE!! They refuse to take any returns although they do not disclose this information up front. They require you to send pictures of the dress and multiple emails just to get you to give up your efforts.They continue to tell you there is npothing wrong with the dress although the dress I ordered had a completely uneven bodice. I sent the required request within 7 days for a refund and then the scare tactics and intimidation began.!!

As of today, I do not have a dress for my daughters wedding and I have no refund for my dress. They won't even send me a return request form!!!! Too many other places to order from...I am trying to save you the grief of this experience, stay away!!!!

I'd read some negative reviews about the company, but figured for $170 I could have the dress repaired or altered if necessary, so I ordered my dream wedding dress from JJ's House on July 16th & it arrived last night. I opened the box, took it out & cried. Not because it's flawed, but because it is absolutely gorgeous!! It's perfect!! It's top-notch quality too, not a single thread out of place, and with the many tiers and gathers on the dress - there are many threads. It's embellished and well lined, and even has built in cups for support. It's soft and comfortable, made of high quality materials. I'm a 6-8 on the bottom, but a 10 on top, so I ordered a 10. I got a 10, just what I ordered. It's wrinkled from shipping, but it's had a long journey. I can't speak for other people's experiences, only mine. And I got the most gorgeous dress in the world from them.

My JJ's House Experience was FABULOUS! I'm sorry for those that didn't have the same. I ordered the A-line tea length dress with black sash.

First let me say, I ordered my dress without looking at any reviews. But of course while I waited for my dress to arrive I had awful anxiety. I read multiple reviews that said JJ's house was not a company to be trusted and seemingly had an awful reputation. My mind went nuts with possibilities.

To my surprise, my dress arrived only 10 days after ordering it. I ordered a standard size because I was only an inch away from the standard measurements. I figured I could easily lose an inch from my waist by wedding time. The dress arrived and was GORGEOUS!!! The craftmanship of the dress is just beautiful. I was blown away by the intricate work of the lace sash, the pictures on the site do not do it justice. I thought it was going to be removable so was very worried that it would look plain and not live up to my dream of looking like a princess for my big day. However, I was completely wrong and very happy I was. The sash is attached to the dress and looks beautiful. I have attached some close up pictures of the sash and would highly recommend you purchase this dress if you are looking for a simple dress to complete your look. We are getting married on the beach and I know this will be the perfect look for me.
