I can't keep my eyes open and the strange guy at work is on one again. This week is taking too long.
I think when I changed my name, I did SS, DMV, bank, and cable bill. I don't have any subscriptions and we already had a joint account. I *am* still under my maiden name at school, but I don't really care about that.Posted by Edie Bee
In Response to Re: It's Hump Day! : So lucky. I had DL, SS, 3 bank accounts, 2 401k's, 2 insurances, phone bill, Texas CPA's, 2 frequent flier accounts (you have to MAIL a marriage cert to change), 3 retail credit cards, car title, and probably more things I can't even think about.Posted by cwaggoner07
Sorry to hear about all that, Shay. Keeping you in my thoughts. My morning has been alright, a bit slow though. We ate SO much on the honeymoon, and now I'm going back to my normal calories and it's really hard...I'm always super hungry in the morning. I had to resist warm, fresh DONUTS this AM....I did well, but I will wanted one even after I had my oatmeal. Tonight I'm going out for dinner with a friend to catch up and then watching Casino Royale with my HUSBAND!! Still sounds weird And I'm also in the process of changing my name but so far it's been smooth at work! I'm a little worried about the other changes though - not so much SS Card and license but all of the cards and accounts that I have that will need to be changed as well. Getting married is kind of a PITA Posted by aloisk57
The name change process slightly terrifies me. I have so much stuff and zero patience. I have work, benefits, two different retirement funds, NYS teachers association crap, two credit cards, car loan, mortgage/deed/title, two banks each with multiple accounts, whatever bills are in my name, and probably more I can't even think of. I'm not excited for it at all. Posted by cnf2013
