XP Need ideas for a long distance shower...if it's possible

My sister is getting married in May in Texas. I'm her MOH.  Our family, another BM and several of her other friends all live up here in Ohio. She can't afford to come up here before the wedding and none of us can go down there.  Is there anyway to do a shower of some sort?  Is a long distance shower possible?

    A shower is a party that is held in honor of the bride (or marrying couple).  You really can't hold a party from "long distance" (parties are an in person kind of thing), so unfortunately, it sounds like a shower just won't work.  A lot of brides don't have a shower though, so it's fine that she won't be having one.

    The only way you guys could contribute to her shower is if someone else hosted it and you helped pay for it. The point of a shower is to give the bride gifts, so it really wouldn't work long distance. Could you perhaps host a spa day for the bridal party closer to the wedding when she is in town?
