Registry wording

I want to post an introductionto our registry. Something like, thank you for thinking of us, we really appreciate you taking the time to look over our registry and that you even want to get us a gift...

Any ideas how I can word something like that?
Did you have something like this to intro. your registry? What did you say?

Where are you planning on registering that this introduction would appear at the top of it?

I'm not sure I would even notice if anyone did an intro.  I look up the registry, maybe shake my head or roll my eyes over a selection or 2, and go shopping.

I don't think this is a very good idea.  Anything you put on their just looks awkward or worse.  Just leave it alone.

Agreed with PPs.  Leave it alone, no intro is required.  People who go to the Registry tab/page know what they're there for.
