Invitations

So this will be my second marriage, his first.  I was on the way to changing back to my maiden name when Mr. Right put a ring on my finger!  I am now putting off changing my name with tax season upon us, then the wedding in September. So my question is can I get away with my maiden name on the invitations?  OR am I forced to put my current last name?  Is hyphenating it an option?  I would really love any ideas, thanks ladies!

It depends on how the majority of your guests know you.  Since I had been using my xH's name for 15 years, for many guests it was the only way they knew me.  I struggled as you are, and chose to put Donna maidenname xHname on the invite. ~Donna

I am being casual with it and only using my first and middle and then his first and middle so it is like

&
Bob Allen


It makes me happy not using ex's last name on the invite and still flows pretty well with the wording.

MrsJPalamar I love that idea and was actually thinking about it today.  I think I may just add my Fi's last name, but keep mine to first and middle!  Thanks so much!
