Picking a house and ceremony location

So my dear FI and I are trying to make a final decision on a house for our wedding week! The house we both love that also works for our families. (we have a couple small children coming) The only issue I'm concerned with is not being on the beach which was my thought on a great ceremony site. I am open to different options for ceremony, I would prefer not to have it in the back yard of the house. Any suggestions? I know you are all the best to ask

How far away from the beach is the house?  You could always use a public beach access....

We rented a house that was 700 yds from the beach and drove down to the ceremony site.  There was lots of parking there.  Worked out just fine.

Oh!  What house is it?  There is this beautiful one in Corolla that we were really interested in (not on the beach though) called Family Ties.  We chose 108 Budleigh and an oceanfront house for the ceremony instead.  My parents hate to truck all the way up to Duck and Corolla on Rt 12, so Nags Head it is!

We were in Four Seasons in Duck.  So the parking and the private beach access was nice.

I was considering the beach, but just recently decided for ease to pass.  We are having our ceremony at the Corolla Chapel, which is really cute.  They also let you do just a 300 deposit in case of rain, if you are looking to do the beach but need a back up!

we are looking at tthe fearing cottage ocean front in nags head i fell in love with it

OOOOH!  Pinkflowers, that is where we are getting married!!  Reception at 108 Budleigh though   We will "warm" it up for you in May   Just kidding!
