Red velvet cupcakes (with cream cheese frosting)

...are yummy.

And even better when DH makes them AND cleans up.  Smile

Tell him to send me one?  I've never tried red velvet cake before but I hear it's incredible.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

I'm not sure how well they ship, but SURE!  lol

They're just from a box cake mix, so they're nothing spectacular for all the foodies out there, but they're amazing imho.

It's the only kind of cake DH likes, aside from Funfetti.

This is going to sound awful, but I haven't yet attempted making cake balls because I have issues with my hands being gooey.

I have those issues too.  I have to rinse my hands a gazillion times while I'm rolling the balls.

YUM, and what a nice husband! I never realized how amazing red velvet cake was until we tried it for our wedding cake tasting. Though ours had chocolate truffle filling, but I bet cream cheese frosting is a-mazing. Have another for me!

    Also, haha to cakelettes. ;)

Everything went really well.  They're flying me back for a final interview in 3 weeks. I'm pretty certain it's mine, although I wish I didn't have to wait 3 more weeks to find out!  We got an apartment yesterday.  Everyone DH met with loved him and said they have tons of work for him once we're down there.  And the two informational interviews I had were really impressed with me and my experience and offered to help me find something if the other job doesn't come through.

And, it felt amazing being down there.  It's definitely the right move for us right now.

    D - I was expecting a "that's what she said" to Navy's rolling balls comment. I'm a little disappointed.

But both Navy and sco's replys make me giggle.  I'm a 12 year old boy.
