FI and I thought we'd do kids tables for the reception, that way adults can catch up and kids can be around their cousins/friends.
My concern though is about those guests with young children. Obviously I wouldn't seat a <2 year old away from his/her parents, but how old is old enough to sit with the other kids at a separate table? I fear some parents of even 5 or 6 year olds will be worried their kid is misbehaving or not eating if he/she is at another table and the parents will not be able to enjoy their time or meal. Should I do this on a kid by kid/parent by parent basis?
