cakes

hey ladies, i havent spoken to too many bakers for our wedding cake, but was wondering how much everyone was spending on their cakes & what the average cake is costing now.  We were quoted right under $500 for a 4-tier cake for 100 guests. thanks!!

My aunt is making ours. So we aren't paying anything =) But, when I did look it seemed like they started at $5-$6 per slice. So, I think your $500 mark is on point. Other girls on the board used Michelle's Bakery and Martha Green's Bakery. Both of those are in the Redlands area I think.

michelles is AMAZING. Im going to contact them about our cake.  but martha greens is very hit & miss and my salon gets cakes from there all the time since we are right across the street from them and we have had our share of bad ones

Wow $500 for a 4 tier that's really good we were quoted $650 for a 3 tier for 100 guest but the flavors and designs were what cost more.

I paid $350 for a 3 tier cake that fed roughly 120.  No delivery charge.
