Heels or Flats

I have been contemplating wearing either heels with my dress or flats like ballerina shoes. I'm not a fan of heels anyway and would end up taking my shoes off at the reception because they would probably be killing my feet. But some people I have talked to think it's a little odd not to wear heels. With my dress, unless I lift my dress up, you won't be able to see the shoes. Even when I sit, I doubt you will see much of it. So should I go for the flats, or should I wear heels?

    Wear the shoes you're most comfortable in.

    If you don't like heels, don't wear them!  You are going to be on your feel the whole day and night.  Make yourself as comfortable as possible.

    You wear whatever you want.  Do not let someone else's opinion make your decision b/c at end of day, and it will be a long one, you will want comfort.  If thinking about wearing heals, are you used to wearing the height of heel on a daily basis?  If not, defintely go with flats and make your decision before your dress fittings!!
