As FI began moving his stuff in (baby steps, small boxes) this weekend, the conversation went something like this:
LISA: "I'm gonna be shackin' up!" He gave me the side-eye and I asked why.
FI: "That's so ... 70s!"
LISA: "Yeah baby, that's me, a child of the 70s."
FI: "I prefer living together."
LISA: "Well, at least it is better than living in sin in the 60s!"
That made me think, what other phrases do we use when describing our relationships that aren't so popular any more?
